Meet the team
RedFin employ a multinational team of specialists with experience in a variety of roles in the design, construction and maintenance of large commercial aquariums, including the supply of jellyfish.
Our aim is to deliver excellent project outcomes by detailed-orientated aquarium design with our clients and by providing quality components, installation and maintenance options.
James is the Managing Director of Sanderia Group and has a lifelong passion for aquariums. With a background in engineering, he leads all design and conceptualisation activities for RedFin. Prior to establishing Sanderia Group, James worked as a Senior Aquarist for Wynn Resorts in Macau, where he was responsible for maintaining the resort’s 11,000 litre Jellyfish aquarium, the largest of its kind in the world at the time.

Director: Head of livestock & Aquaculture
Toshihiro is RedFin’s biological expert and has extensive experience in the aquatics field. He has worked for various research institutes and public aquariums, including Australian Antarctic Division, Tsuruoka-City Kamo Aquarium and Wynn Macau Aquarium. A Marine Biology graduate, Toshihiro received a PhD. degree in the subject with his final thesis in Marine Plankton from the University of Tasmania (Australia.)
Director: Business Development
Patrick leads RedFin's business development activities and liaises with clients across a range of issues including contracts, finance and logistics. Patrick has extensive experience in cross-border trade through roles in Ireland, Belgium and Hong Kong. Patrick holds a degree in Finance from the National University of Ireland and a Master of International Business from Macquarie University, Australia.
Manager: Product Development
Daniel graduated from The Ohio State University with a Ph.D in Chemistry. Following a long career in the communications and technology sector, he joined RedFin in 2016 to manage research and development projects. Daniel has a life long passion for marine life and has extensive hobbyist experience in building reef marine habitats.
Robin graduated from Swansea University in the UK with a B.Sc in Physics. Since university he has worked in product design specialising in SolidWorks and Autocad. Robin currently heads up the RedFin design team providing our clients with technical drawings, computer renders and computer stress simulations for each RedFin project.
Manager: Business Administration
Lillian is a graduate of Business and International Studies from the University of Missouri. Lillian oversees all administrative duties for RedFin including finance and logistics.
Senior Aquarium Specialist
Nikky is Redfin’s aquarium specialist, formerly an aquarist at Hong Kong Ocean Park, who works on and maintaining upscale, boutique aquariums in and around Hong Kong. His passion for aquariums centres on jellyfish and their care, and works to pioneer new techniques to successfully keep these delicate species.
Jason comes from a background of exotic fish trading and importation. He works with RedFin in livestock aquaculture, procurement and quarantine. Jason holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration and Management from De Montfort University.
Bob is an experienced aquarist who has worked at fish farms in both Taiwan and Singapore in the past 6 years. Originally from Hong Kong, he graduated from the National Taiwan Ocean University with a Bachelor degree in Aquaculture. Bob specialises in aquaculture and has experience across the fishkeeping industry. He has a particular interest in aquatic disease control.
John has a lifelong passion for aquariums and works with the RedFin project installation and maintenance teams.
